Kaya was invited by Tour Directions to review one of the famous cafes in Georgetown called The Alley. They are famous for their churros and the one-time craze which Kaya feels that it is getting lesser and lesser that is the cronut, a combination of croissant and donut. Kaya heard from one of the bosses that two pieces of cronut sells for US$30++. That’s how ‘powderful’ (meme) the cronut is. Finally, Kaya get to try it! 🙂

It is happy having the chance to review one of the latest Penang white curry mee. This version is from Kim Curry. It mentions that it is Penang traditional white curry noodle with natural ingredients of chili paste, on its packet. Above is the outlook of the instant white curry noodle. It comes in 4 packets per pack(RM6.80). I cannot wait to try out how it really taste like. Will it taste almost the same like the existing brands in the market? …or will it be different?

Finally, KayaButter get our chance to taste the famous tom yam noodle in Raja Uda. We have been seeing a lot of this tom yam noodles in Instagram and Facebook. Actually there are two stalls in Raja Uda that are famous for tom yam noodles. We are actually looking for the tom yam soup that are thicker and hotter but we get to Kwong Wah Tom Yam Noodle or some write it as Kwang Wah or Kwong Hwa which is just after the Petronas petrol station and besides Kwong Wah Primary School. The other famous tom yam noodles is at Joo Seng Cafe which KayaButter hope to try next time.

Kaya get to know about this hokkien mee after seeing threesixty.us, a food directory, posted about it. Kaya has been trying to find a chance to try it together with Butter. Instead of getting to the right stall, we detoured to another stall and at that place, KayaButter stumbled upon a hidden gem that sells damn good wan tan mee. KayaButter will post about it when we have time ya and also to reduce the no of people going there 1st so that we can enjoy it ‘peacefully’ 😛
