This is the day that Butter is waiting for, the première screening of The Amazing Spider-Man 2: The Rise of Electro. Another reason that make Butter feels excited is that Butter is watching in IMAX 3D! Besides that, Butter will be among the firsts to watch this movie even earlier than our American counterpart! How awesome!
So, KayaButter received invitation for the launching of a Fertimans Curiosity Cola by Exclusivitea Sdn Bhd. KayaButter never wrote anything about wine or anything related, never invited to food pairing with wine or a big fan of wine. So, we are very thankful to be invited to the launching and also to taste 1st hand their new product! Thank you again for the great explanation to us and being so hospitable, Katherine Khor and also Criz for the invite. 🙂 And the organizer picked a very relaxing place for the launch which is The Wine Shop.
Yup! You didn’t read wrongly. TGV Gurney Paragon is dishing out introductory prices for their IMAX 3D, Beanie Hall and Standard Hall. *The RM5 movie is for early birds who watches the available movies before 12pm. IMAX 3D tickets are around 30%++ discounts. A very good deal indeed.
After blogging about TGV Gurney Paragon Open House 2014 event, Kaya went together with Kaya’s mum to experience the IMAX 3D and Beanie Hall at TGV Gurney Paragon Open House. We reached there at around 830pm++, so there were no longer free popcorn and drink and also the appearance of Nico and Pedro, the two birds in Rio 2 movie.
And good news is that TGV Gurney Paragon is ready and they are having their open house on Thursday, 3rd April 2014 from 12pm-9pm. Holy cow! There will definitely be a lot of people. At 1st, Kaya thought that there will be free movies for all of us who attend but sadly there will be movies but movie trailers. Ouch… 🙁
It is a really sunny and warm Sunday. Kaya & Butter, both decides to hang out at Gurney Paragon. We had a light breakfast earlier this morning before going to church. Therefore, we are basically quite hungry when we reach Gurney Paragon in the afternoon. There are plenty of people at the mall today, maybe due to the warm weather outside. We are craving for Japanese food recently, so we agree to have a Japanese cuisine marathon this afternoon, by visiting Rakuzen, Sushi Zanmai and Pasta Zanmai.
Project Occupy Beach Street takes place at Beach Street every Sunday. As it is a no-car-day for Penang every Sunday, partial of the road are closed down for people to walk around, cycling and other non-car-activities, such as performances. Be sure you go early or you have to park your car further and walk here.

KayaButter have never attended any stand up comedy show before. It has never been the in thing for Penangnites or Malaysians to attend a stand up comedy show but it is slowly building up its momentum.
October is a busy month for Hard Rock Hotel Penang with their Pinktober events and also one of the most anticipated event organized by Hard Rock Hotel Penang which is Rock to Rock Run which also means a busy month for KayaButter because we are invited to cover their events. 🙂
