Walk Walk See See 2015 Starbucks Coffee @ Batu Ferringhi, Penang

It’s Sunday and KayaButter takes this opportunity to visit the famous Batu Ferringhi Starbucks Coffee. KayaButter have seen many photos that have been shared in our Facebook about this Starbucks Coffee.

If you are coming from town area, Starbucks Coffee Batu Ferringhi is actually located on the right just after the Golden Thai Seafood Village and The Ship and before Holiday Inn Resort. It is easy to miss if you are not careful. Just slow down your car after you see The Ship on your right. If you are coming from Teluk Bahang, then Starbucks is on your left.

There are around 40++ carpark spaces in front of the Starbucks which is quite limited during weekends. One thing I notice is that the system is a bit dangerous as the entrance and exit shares the same place and the car going out and the car going in might collide if not careful. I am not sure if they put a big mirror at the entrance/exit so that the drivers can see each other and avoid collision. So, drivers, do be careful when you turn in ya. They have motorcycle parking space and also a few lots for bicycles as well. Thumbs up to Starbucks for being bicycle-friendly.

As you step into Starbucks Coffee Batu Ferringhi, you will definitely love the ambience and the design. Very comforting and homey. KayaButter immediately fell in love with this outlet. Well well lit and different kinds of tables and settings to fit all walks of customers. The first thing you notice on your left as you step in is a section called Starbucks Gear whereby they sell all kinds of stuffs with Starbucks logo. *Sorry for taking photo of your hip :P*

And as usual, the favourite tumblers and cups of Starbucks.

Next, you will see a large table and the ordering counter behind it.

On your right as you walk further in is a cosy area with sofas and coffee tables.

As you walk further to the right, there is another area with higher tables and chairs suitable for laptop use.

If you walk to the left, there will be a door that leads to the al-fresco dining area with wooden themed furnitures.

On your left, there is an area for more cosy seating and coffee tables.

This is one of the main attractions of Starbuck Coffee Batu Ferringhi. They have lazy chairs or reclining chairs and sands which is a rather unique feature for a Starbucks Coffee outlet! πŸ™‚

If you think that the reclining chairs is awesome, they even have an island counter that sells limited selection of drinks in case you want to avoid the crowd inside. It starts selling only after 7pm.*This information might change*

They have two elevated areas with extra seatings to fit the big crowd. Very cosy when the weather is good and definitely not a good place when it is very sunny.

There is a very romantic spot in Starbucks Coffee Batu Ferringhi which is just above the island counter. Here, they have small round table fit for two persons to let couples and loved ones to have some private time and with an awesome beach and sea view on their right or left depending on where they sit. Thumbs up again for such a great idea.

Kaya would love to try the parasailing one day! The view that we get from where we sit. We prefer the air-conditioned area of Starbucks. We don’t really enjoy the heat in the al-fresco area.

Starbucks Coffee Batu Ferringhi definitely a good place to chill. Oh ya, by the way, Starbucks provide a place to wash you legs if you are entering from the beach side or when you go out to the beach to play. Very thoughtful of them. You can find the washing place near the island counter.
