KayaButter Travel Diaries: Taiwan Trip: Day 1 Part 1

KayaButterToast.com Taiwan Trip Itinerary Day 1-1

This is a trip that we have waited for so long yet the least planned trip. πŸ˜›

Kaya fell in love with Taiwan when he first visited Taiwan in 2010. He loved the beauty of the nature, the bustling life of the city, the friendliness of the Taiwanese and Β most of all Taiwanese Milk Tea. πŸ˜› He is crazy about it.

Butter loved the awesome nature and attractions that Taiwan has to offer and also all the cute-cute stuffs and cheap clothes and accessories (not all are cheap from our experience).

Here are the prices of our AirAsia flight tickets from Penang to Kuala Lumpur and Kuala Lumpur to Taipei. It’s very hard to check what are the lowest price that we can book for each trip, be it Taiwan, Singapore, Gold Coast or anywhere in the Internet. Nobody’s posting. So, Kaya will take the lead. πŸ˜›Β

AirAsia PEN KL Flight Ticket Price

The price of AirAsia flight (PEN – KUL) from Penang Airport to LCCT in Kuala Lumpur is RM43.20 for two persons. So, one person will cost RM21.60. Damn cheap I will say.

AirAsia KL TPE Flight Tickets Price

This is the AirAsia flight ticket price (KUL-TPE-KUL) for LCCT, Kuala Lumpur to Tao Yuan International Airport, Taiwan and back to Kuala Lumpur is RM1,666.00. So one person ticket price for return ticket to Taiwan is RM833.00. Quite expensive I will say.

The reason we bought the tickets also even though it’s quite expensive (I heard that someone managed to book return ticket for Kuala Lumpur to Taipei (KUL-TPE-KUL) around RM300++) is because we are forced to. We actually booked the tickets to Japan last April 2011 but due to the tsunami, our flight had been cancelled. We are give a credit to repurchase our tickets but it was within 3 months time after the refund date. Pretty nasty I would say.

Moreover, the travel insurance that we bought together with the flight need to be refunded by our own. This is one thing that I wish to tell Tony Fernandes. Since they are the one that we purchased the travel insurance, AirAsia should be the one to do the refund thing. πŸ™

Anyhow, Kaya will stop here and will continue with the Taiwan trip story in the next post. πŸ˜› Teaser.
