The Famous Economy Rice ‘Sa Kak Eng’ @ Jalan Air Itam, Air Itam!

This is a very famous economy rice in Air Itam. It is also very popular among the Chung Ling students. They also do home catering.

The place is very packed during lunch hours. It will be quite hard to find parking spaces also. Many of them do illegal parking in front of the shop. There are some legal parking lots behind the shop. You need to drive further around 500m and make a U turn and drive into the morning market area.

Coming back with a bang after being closed for a month for renovation, Hameediyah is set to redefine and raise the bar of Indian Muslim food and the ambience. So for this nationalistic month, Eastin Hotel Penang is proud to introduce their August’s buffet theme which is, of course, called as Magnificent Malaysia where many Malaysia’s multi-cultural dishes will be found. During the same day of review, Eastin Hotel Penang simultaneously introduced their July Buffet Theme which is Peranakan Cuisine for lunch (for non-Muslim) and dinner (after fasting month which is 28th-31st July 2014). Butter is very full after eating so many delicious dishes from the Ramadan Buffet Dinner. So, Butter will just introduce you some of the highlights of their Peranakan Cuisines. These dishes will definitely spark much nostalgia especially Baba & Nyonya ethnic people. Butter knows that Kaya will definitely miss the ‘lor bak’ 🙂

Kim Curry’s Traditional White Curry Noodle!

It is happy having the chance to review one of the latest Penang white curry mee. This version is from Kim Curry. It mentions that it is Penang traditional white curry noodle with natural ingredients of chili paste, on its packet. Above is the outlook of the instant white curry noodle. It comes in 4 packets per pack(RM6.80). I cannot wait to try out how it really taste like. Will it taste almost the same like the existing brands in the market? …or will it be different?
