Christmas is 4 more days to go and the festive mood is getting better and better each day. KayaButter feels that this 2014’s Christmas festive is better than previous years. Maybe there are many Christmas-related reviews or many of the shopping malls put extra effort to decorate their malls. The turkey served by G Café, G Hotel is sooooo GOOOODDD!!! 🙂 Our favourite hotel, G Hotel’s Christmas buffet does not disappoint this year with so many lip-smacking dishes especially the very delicious desserts! We gotta start the sharing of its buffet dinner with desserts! 🙂

Nada Lama sits at the exact same location of their previous restaurant, Coffee Garden.
Starting with their humble flagship outlet in Bukit Mertajam, Penang, Shunka Group has managed to expand their franchise to 8 outlets in Malaysia, namely 3 restaurant outlets in Penang (Bukit Mertajam, Butterworth and Burmah Road), 3 restaurant outlets in Perak (Parit Buntar, Kampar, Taiping), 1 restaurant outlet in Kedah which is at Aman Jaya, Sungai Petani and finally 1 restaurant outlet in Kuala Lumpur which is located at the high-end shopping mall, Publika. For June 2014, Eastin Hotel Penang will be introducing diverse selection of international cuisines from all over the world from China to Mexico under their buffet theme called Around the World in 80 Dishes. The ’80 dishes’ will be spread out over the days as 14 main dishes will selected from one of the 4-5 menus for the day and that does not includes the appetizers, soup and desserts. You will need roughly 5 visits to really taste all the 80 dishes of exotic cuisines from around the world. What KayaButter will be featuring is just a small part of the ’80 dishes’.
Goku Raku Ramen has been renamed to Edo Ramen with the introduction of their new menu effective on 7th April 2014. Edo Ramen is still under the same management team of Goku Raku Ramen and their menu has been simplified. Instead of a lot of different kind of foods and choices, the management team decided to streamline their choices in two types of meat served and four kinds of soups to choose from. They wish to be able to serve their famous ramen faster and more efficient, hence, reduced waiting time. And one big positive note is that the price has been adjusted LOWER despite all the increases in their costs. Well done! 🙂
It is a really sunny and warm Sunday. Kaya & Butter, both decides to hang out at Gurney Paragon. We had a light breakfast earlier this morning before going to church. Therefore, we are basically quite hungry when we reach Gurney Paragon in the afternoon. There are plenty of people at the mall today, maybe due to the warm weather outside. We are craving for Japanese food recently, so we agree to have a Japanese cuisine marathon this afternoon, by visiting Rakuzen, Sushi Zanmai and Pasta Zanmai.
