Last Pit-Stop of Penang Heritage Food Trail, Lighthouse Coffee!!!

The last pit-stop. Everyone is quite tense already because after this round, the winner of HTC Wildfire S will be decided. It’s a close competition between Kaya and another participant, Brandon See Toh. 12 points to 8 points. 🙂

Lighthouse Coffee is part of the Logan Heritage Building. It’s headed by Victor, Chief Barista & Roaster. It has a mission/slogan which is ‘Shine U on the World of Coffee’. Victor is trained Autralia with years of cafe experience. He uses the lighthouse as a symbol of enlightening the coffee industry with the correct method of preparing coffee and also the customers on how to really enjoy a good cup of coffee. It really takes skills and knowledge to really enjoy a good cup of coffee. I really salute Victor for his passion and mission. 🙂

Lighthouse Coffee also provide barista training, supply of home & commercial espresso machines, barista pro-tools and accessories and cafe & gourmet ingredients, and also cafe consultancy and equipment setup.

The exterior of Lighthouse Coffee. You have to turn into the lane beside Standard Chartered, drive straight and turn left at the T-junction. After a short drive, turn left at the crossroad and after that, look for a parking as Lighthouse Coffee is at your left and near the end junction. 

The owner really loved lighthouse a lot. Different kinds of lighthouse.

Love the decoration and the ambience in the outlet. A very relax and classy feel.

It also has a personal touch whereby you can actually leave a comment or message and stick it on the board. Good way to engage your customers and makes them feel that they are part of the outlet. 🙂

Specially made using Lighthouse own roasted coffee. A must try!!! Quality and taste is comparable with Soul Kitchen Trattoria’s tiramisu.

Space is quite limited and it’s quite pack during weekends especially tea time. Hopefully they will earn enough and rent the other shop and expand their shop. 🙂

Overall, Lighthouse Coffee is a great place to enjoy good coffee and great food and desserts. And the ambiance is really cosy and classy and great for group gathering although sometimes you might not have place to seat. Really hope that they will expand and have more outlets in Penang and give more people a chance to enjoy great coffee!
