Penangnites are blessed to have another big name in the international F&B industry coming to open their 1st overseas branch in Southeast Asia. Using a simple name, Tasty Congee & Noodle Wantun Shop or more commonly known as 正斗 among its patrons, many shoppers will mistake it as another simple and normal-looking Chinese restaurant. It is actually a recipient of Michelin one star and also Bib Gourmand (this award is for restaurants that offer exceptional good food at reasonable prices) for 7 freaking consecutive years, 2009 – 2015, to be exact. Hungry Go Where Malaysia or also called as HGW MY organized a Penang Food Trail last month for its users and some selected bloggers. Butter was very happy to be invited as a blogger to cover the event. The event started at 830am at Traders Hotel for gathering and ended at 8pm++. Yesterday, Kaya and Butter went to Queensbay Mall to attend Spice CSL new Transformer phone launching event. After the event, we had our dinner at Kim Gary Hong Kong Restaurant and we spent the whole evening there until 10pm++. On our way home, we past by the relocated Teluk Bayan Food Court. We were a a bit hungry and we decided to check out the new Teluk Bayan Food Court. It has taken the place of a previous restaurant that caters to wedding dinners and functions.
