Founded in 1995 by Mr Teh Tatt Huat, Tean Ean Local Products have been producing and selling local products of Penang. They have more than 300 local products. Your overseas friends or outstation friends will definitely be able to find something that they like here! 😛 Their famous local products are Bah Kut Teh (in Hokkien) or also known as Pork Bone Soup, tambun biscuits or famously known in Penang as Tau Sar Pneah or some calls it as dragon-ball biscuits due to its shape and nutmeg products.
Look! What has reached our home? Even before Christmas is here, the Chinese New Year (CNY) atmosphere is here already. Gartien has sent us a box of their CNY 2014 design for their pineapple cakes and order quick as it has limited units available only.
So, one night, KayaButter were introduced by Butter’s sister’s boyfriend to try an eatery called Relau Seafood Cafe that he said quite good and economical. 🙂 At that time, KayaButter were thinking what to eat for dinner. So, we followed him. He brought us to Taman Lip Sin.
Three Sixty Degree is Penang’s first skybar and the latest ‘in’ place to be for clubbers and pub-goers. Awesome panaromic view, nice sea breeze, great drinks and no more stale smoke environment.
KayaButter believe that many are wondering where is this mural painting of YAB Lim Guan Eng eating Hokkien Mee, after seeing them in Instagrams or Facebook. After some searching and asking around, KayaButter finally found the place. This is not the same as the one in Penang 3D Museum called Made in Penang. That one is YAB Lim Guan Eng having coffee and wearing white shirt. Let KayaButter show you where. 🙂
On the 24th November 2013, Three Sixty° Revolving Restaurant & Skybar at Bayview Hotel made another hoo haa in the buffet scene in Penang by introducing their new buffet theme which is ‘The Best of Penang Holiday Special Buffet’ with a special focus on Nyonya cuisine.
While the whole of Penang is crazy about Penang White Curry Instant Noodles, KayaButter managed to get our hands on Mamee Chef, a latest product from Mamee-Double Decker where they also produce the famous and nostalgic Mamee with the blue monster. 🙂 That’s what KayaButter grows up with and sometimes still eat it! 😛
Their December 2013 theme for their buffet is International Flavors and the chefs are introducing famous dishes around the globe. They have dishes from France, Thailand, Spain, Italy, Korea, India, Hong Kong, Brazil, China and America. How awesome is that! But do take note that the dishes are rotated on a daily basis during the month of December and not all dishes featured here will available all together on a same day.
Fancy for some onigiri (click the word for Wikipedia definition of onigiri), a Japanese word for rice ball either in oval or triangular shape and wrapped with seaweed? As a tradition, onigiri is usually stuffed with salted stuffs such as Japanese apricot aka ume, salted salmon, taroko and etc to serve as natural preservative.
